Biography
Dr. Satyajit Patra is the Director of PhD and Research Program at American International Medical University. Dr. Patra is a pioneer scientist in the filed of cancer molecular biology, and has been conducting research for about a decade in the field of cancer therapy and has published several research articles in the filed of Cancer, Pharmacogenomics in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Patra has special interest in isolation of anti-cancer molecules form Natural resources. With his education in Pharmacy and research interests, he successfully isolated, identified and characterized anti-cancer molecules from natural resources including plants and marines. Dr. Patra obtained his PhD in the filed of Cancer Molecular Biology from Manipal University. He obtained postdoctoral training from premier universities, UCSD and UAB at USA in the filed of cancer molecular genetics. Dr. Patra joined AIMU in the year 2014. He supervises the research program at AIMU, and also oversees the PhD program being offered at AIMU.
