Biography
Aamir Jalal Al Mosawi, MD, PhD is senior advisor doctor, accredited training expert, and the Head of Copernicus Scientists International Panel in Iraq . He was the first to describe: 1-The pattern of acute glomerulonephritis in Iraqi children. 2-The etiology of chronic renal failure in Iraqi children 3- The Spectrum of Renal Tubular Disorders in Iraqi Children . One of his greatest scientific achievement was the description of a new model for the management of end-stage renal failure .He described the first case of Coffin Siris syndrome in the Arab , and an Iraqi variant of Lowe syndrome .He described a new therapy for refractory vitamin D-resistant rickets ,and for childhood pediatric urolithiasis , and also for achondroplasia . He also described a novel association of “Idiopathic hyeruricosuria, hypercalciuria and infantile renal stone disease†and its therapeutic approach .He was one of few authors who described a severe variant of pediatric Hinman syndrome ,and The Incidence of Ocular Abnormalities in Childhood Chronic Renal Failure .He authored few chapters in International medical books. He is the reviewer of many International peer review medical journals :BMJ, Acta pediatrica ,Nephrology, Medical Science Monitor, Therapy, The Lancet ,Journal of pediatric neurology , Southern medical journal, Clinical Anatomy. He was the founding editor of the first Iraqi International Medical Journal "The New Iraqi Journal of Medicine 2005-2013" .He also member of the World association of Medical editors, and member of the advisory council of the "International Association of Medical Colleges" In 2008, Iraq headquareter of Copernicus Scientists International Index in Baghdad announced Dr Aamir Jalal Al Mosawi as the doctor with highest academic rank in modern history of Iraq according to international standards with more than 30 published paper registered by Copernicus Scientists International Index.
